I realized that I haven't written a new journal in 8 months...^^;
Well, I do have something to tell occasional visitors who might stumble upon this userpage.

So I am a huge fan of The Legend of Zelda, theorizing about its timeline and stuff, and an appreciator of Japanese as well. Some of you might know that the English texts of the Zelda games are not always as faithfully translated from Japanese as we should expect them to be. That means for us fans it's very important to look at the Japanese originals so we can become aware of potential errors. And that's where I come in.

I'm the translator of Japanese at Zelda Legends, one of the biggest and oldest Zelda fansites still around. In our forums, there's a thread where I regularly post my translations of passages from games like Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time, Four Swords Adventures, and The Wind Waker.
That thread is also the right place to request from me a Japanese translation of a particular passage in a Zelda game that you have doubts about (I mean, where you hope the Japanese version says something "better" than the English version - and trust me, that happens quite often).

Yeah, that's all for now. I know the chances for a Zelda timeliner to come across this journal are rather small, but if you do, don't hesitate to leave a comment and go check out my translations! :)

Seltsamer Zufall.:D
Ich benutz mein Devart-acount eigentlich garnicht mehr aber ich musste jetzt einfach mal hier posten.
Müsste mal den ganzen alten Müll aus meiner Gallerie rausscheißen und neues Zeug hochladen, aber naja keine Zeit halt.:/
Vieleicht in den Semesterferien...
